Our Story
Born to tree cats in the White River country.
Arrow J Outfitters specializes in hunting mountain lions in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. We work the White River National Forest — units 23 and 24 — along with several private ranches scattered across the county.
We have rugged and very capable guides, and a pack of very good dogs that love to tree cats. Each day means putting in the miles: on the truck, on snowmobiles or side-by-sides, and maybe even some horseback miles when the country gets rough. We put in a lot of effort to get you a good Tom, and we target toms only.
Good food, good lodging, and a hunt you will not soon forget.

We target mature male lions, every hunt. It’s the right way to run cats and it’s the standard we hold.
The dogs do the work
A good pack is everything in cat country. Ours love to tree cats, and we hunt behind them hard.
Effort, every day
Miles on the sled, the side-by-side and the saddle. We go where the track goes until the hunt is done.
